Tammy Chan

Artist member since 2020
Toronto, Ontario

Tammy Chan is an illustrator based in the Greater Toronto Area and a recent graduate from OCAD University with a BDes in Design for illustration. Her personal work draws inspirations from mundane environments and capturing timely moments; supported by photographic and memory-based experiences. Through her practice of painting, she transforms nature and surroundings into intricate worlds of flat colours. Chan's illustrations experiment with a mixture of analogue mediums ranging from: gouache, acrylics, pens, and crayons – and recently, exploring digital techniques evocative of traditional print and paper textures. Her works have been recognized by the American Illustration and Creative Quarterly.
